• Old Violin Sunburst finish adds warm vintage-inspired visual character

The Yamaha APXT2 is a 3/4-size version of Yamaha’s popular APX series, built for players who need a smaller, more portable instrument without sacrificing functionality. Its compact body and shorter scale length make it ideal for beginners, younger players, travel use, casual practice, and songwriting on the go.

The thin-line APX-style body is designed for comfort and control, delivering a focused and balanced acoustic response that works well for practice sessions, recording ideas, and amplified performance. While compact in size, the APXT2 still offers clear note definition and controlled low end response, particularly for light strumming and fingerstyle playing.

The shorter 580 mm scale length gives the APXT2 an approachable and relaxed feel that is easy on the hands, making it especially comfortable for newer players or musicians looking for a compact secondary instrument.

Equipped with Yamaha’s System 68 pickup and preamp, the APXT2 transitions easily from unplugged use to amplified performance. Whether plugged into an acoustic amp, PA system, or recording interface, it delivers a clean and dependable signal with minimal setup.

The Old Violin Sunburst finish gives the APXT2 a warm vintage-inspired appearance that pairs naturally with the thin-line APX body design while adding more visual depth than a traditional natural finish.
