A compact parlor-style acoustic-electric built for players who want travel-friendly comfort, warm acoustic tone, and real musical response in a timeless vintage-inspired finish.

• Solid Sitka spruce top delivers clarity, responsiveness, and balanced projection
• Mahogany back and sides provide warmth, focus, and strong midrange definition
• Compact parlor-style body offers excellent comfort and portability
• Passive pickup system allows simple and reliable amplified performance
• Short 600 mm scale length creates a relaxed and approachable playing feel

The Yamaha CSF1M is designed for players who want a smaller-bodied acoustic that still feels like a serious musical instrument rather than a compromise or travel novelty. Compact enough for couch playing, songwriting sessions, and travel, the CSF1M maintains the warmth, fullness, and responsiveness that Yamaha’s modern acoustic lineup is known for.

The solid Sitka spruce top gives the guitar clarity and articulation, while mahogany back and sides contribute warmth, focused mids, and excellent note separation. The compact parlor-style body keeps the response balanced and controlled, making the CSF1M especially well suited for fingerstyle playing, vocal accompaniment, and lighter strumming styles.

The shorter 600 mm scale length gives the guitar a more relaxed feel under the fingers, while the compact body shape makes long playing sessions noticeably comfortable. Despite its smaller footprint, the CSF1M still delivers impressive projection and fullness for its size, avoiding the thin or boxy response that often affects compact acoustics.

For live use and casual amplification, Yamaha includes a passive undersaddle pickup system that keeps the setup straightforward while preserving the instrument’s natural acoustic character. The Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish gives the guitar a warm vintage-inspired appearance that feels classic and musician-focused without becoming overly flashy.

Since 1959, Yamaha has built a reputation for dependable construction, strong fit and finish, and practical musician-focused design. The CSF1M continues that tradition with a compact acoustic platform that feels versatile, comfortable, and genuinely musical.
