Slingerland – 1966 Vintage Radio King 4-Piece Set 22", 16", 13", with Matching 5x14" 1 Ply Radio King Snare.– White Marine Pearl.

Here is a really stunning example of a 1960s Slingerland Radio King set with a matching snare. Original 22" bass drum, 13" mounted tom, 16" floor tom, and matching 5x14" 1 ply snare drum with 3 point strainer. .

The drums are in excellent condition with no notable issues. Nothing broken, damaged or altered. The original muffler on the matching snare drum has been removed. The original factory mounting holes are visible. There are minor scuffs and tarnish on the finish and chrome visible in the photos. Original Slingerland logo calf head on the front of the bass. All seams are clean and tight. All edges are smooth. The photos depict the condition accurately.

The snare is slightly older than the rest of the set. Interestingly, the snare supposedly belonged to Gene Krupa, according to the story of a previous owner. There is a Gene Krupa signature inside the snare dated 1959. I'm not able to validate the history or the signature. No premium is being added for the set's supposed history. The serial #'s of the bass and toms are close enough to assume they were all part of the original set.
