Hello!

I’m selling this original 976 Fender Stratocaster for the simple reason that I’m not using it at all, and I believe guitars are meant to be played.

• Body: Swamp ash
• Neck: Maple (thin neck making it super nice to play)
• Weight: 3.7 kg

Details & Condition:

• Nut is not original
• Finish has been stripped
• Volume pot replaced with a new CTS 250 (same brand, identical spec)
• The other two pots, selector, and wiring are original, except for three added red wires (at the time grounds weren’t wired that way — these were added later for better performance)
• CBS era
• Original pickups
• Neck plate and electronics do not come from the same instrument (uncertain whether the electronics or the plate were replaced)
• Confirmed production period: not earlier than 1973, not later than 1976
  

Additional info:

• Fully checked and serviced by a professional luthier (TB Lutherie, Bordeaux)
• Brand new strings: GHS David Gilmour “Blue” set
