The Meinl B18QSR Byzance Quick Sand Ride 18" is an exceptional cymbal that is characterized by its sandblasted surface and a dark, dry sound. With a short Sustain and excellent stick definition, it offers precise control in any playing situation. A worldwide unique sound notch, a recess in the edge of the cymbal reduces tension in the outer ring, minimizes unwanted overtones and provides precise, focused sound with clear stick definition.
Inspiration from the 70s and 80sThe Benny Greb Signature Quick Sand Ride is inspired by the iconic jazz and funk cymbals of the 1970s and 1980s. It combines the sound of charming, often repaired symphony cymbals with modern design and technology. The heavy weight and hand-hammered finish give this cymbal its unique character, which can be used in a variety of genres.
This ride cymbal is perfect for musicians who value sound variety, precision and vintage aesthetics - whether at Studio or on stage.
