Fodera Emperor 5 Bolt-on Custom Olive

We have received a bolt-on custom that combines the elegance of the Emperor with a bit of aggression.

Speaking of bolt-ons, the standard version is plenty powerful, but if you want to customize it in various ways, we recommend the Custom series.

The good thing about customization is that you can choose an olive top that is not too complicated, which is more "elegant" than luxurious.

The ash on the back is one piece!?

If you look closely, it is a two-piece book-matched set, but this part is also neatly arranged, so at first glance it is not a combination that you would notice.

In pursuit of a fast, aggressive sound, the bolt-on neck is a regular three-piece maple.

The head is Fodera's unique extended B specification.

The 5th string is positioned so that the B string is the furthest away.

The low B has even more stability, and a sense of control that does not move around even when played a little harder.

This is a subjective opinion, so we would like you to try it out.

In addition, it seems that the larger the head area, the more solid the bass sounds.

The wide extended head is a sandwich style with an olive back, which seems to be a custom design.

It's a small thing, but you can enjoy the hidden style that only the player can see, and the flat back.

The pickup is an AERO single pickup, which is more forward-thinking than the standard Duncan pickups from Fodera.

Even when playing with your fingers, it has a rough and slightly crunchy feel.

It responds quickly to slaps, and even with fast slaps, it follows the player as if they are being encouraged by the bass.

Is it gentle because it's an Emperor?

If you play it with that in mind, you may be in for a treat, but this is an Emperor that you need to handle with care!
