Teac A-2340 Restored 4-track Quadraphonic Reel to reel, See Pics And Read

Teac A-2340 that has been calibrated on all four channels (playback, record and monitor level, EQ and bias where possible etc). Heads are in good shape and it is a great sounding deck overall. However it is missing a lot of it's covers. Has head cover but is missing top, back and bottom as well as the decorative pieces surrounding the reel tables. Also the bottom right lamp is out in the meter.

Does not need hard to find original power cord, I replaced that socket with a more common 3 prong IEC cable (ground is not connected however to prevent ground loops, just as the original design was).

Still looks good overall really and sounds great. Mechanism runs smooth and tension is spot on.

I do have a decent amount of time into fixing this deck but I still need to get it gone. It's plug and play ready, a perfect deck for someone to put in their garage or outdoor setup or a great way to get tape sound on four tracks without breaking the bank.

Will package and ship carefully with full insurance.
