With the 4-Zone CV Bus Case, Make Noise presents the improved version of its popular 7U case. With two rows of 104 TE each, the case offers space for 3U modules, as well as an additional row containing the redesigned CV bus. The high-performance power supply provides the case with power, delivering +12 V: 4000 mA / -12 V: 2600 mA / 5 V: 1000 mA; there are 31 connectors for modules. The mounting depth ranges from 50 to 63 mm. The case itself impresses with its high-quality finish, featuring a powder-coated surface, rubber feet and a removable lid. The lid is high enough to allow the case to be transported whilst patched up and closed.

The manufacturer has paid particular attention to the design of the 2-zone bus board. The two bus boards offer 16 connections, divided into two zones (8 + 8 connections). This is particularly useful, for example, when you wish to separate digital and analogue modules from one another to minimise any potential interference. Furthermore, this switched, linear power supply ensures excellent load regulation. Even the ground return is routed separately for each zone. Two of the 2-zone bus boards are fitted inside the 4-zone CV bus case.

The highlight of the 4 Zone CV Bus Case is, of course, the revamped Utility series. The Multiple takes up the most space, consisting of eight numbered and illuminated 1-to-4 (1 In/4 Out) buffered multiples. The CV Bus distributes clock, gate, trigger, audio and control voltages per bus to up to four destinations and provides visual feedback on the signal. To the right of the CV BIG Bus is the high-quality stereo line driver, which converts the powerful Eurorack-level signal to line level. Mono and stereo signals are accepted at the inputs and output via the stereo outputs and headphone output. To prevent damage to ears and the PA system, a limiter and an overload indicator are included.
