ESP LTD B-205SM Bass in Natural Satin

ESP LTD B-205SM Bass Guitar in Natural Satin Finish

The B-205SM delivers a balanced, comfortable playing experience with its thin U-contoured neck and manageable 34" scale length. This five-string prioritizes playability and versatile electronics without unnecessary bulk, making it equally at home in the hands of players transitioning from four-string basses or those seeking a refined, responsive instrument.

Playability & Construction

A 5-piece maple/rosewood neck with thin U contour resists warping while the 45mm nut width and 24 XJ frets make rapid position shifts and upper-range access straightforward. The bolt-on spalted maple top over ash body provides durability and a resonant low-end foundation, while the satin finish keeps weight down and reduces gloss maintenance.

Tone & Electronics

Dual ESP SB-5 pickups deliver articulate, punchy tones across the frequency range, while the ESP ABQ-3 3-band active EQ with bass, mid, and treble boost/cut, plus balance and volume controls lets you dial in everything from tight slap tones to deep, focused lows. The ESP BB-605 bridge with string-thru-body design maximizes sustain and tonal transfer to the body.
