Fender Telecaster Blonde 1969 Original Vintage, a genuine late-1960s Telecaster retaining the simplicity, character and immediate response that made this model one of the most important electric guitars ever produced. The ash body is finished in classic Blonde and paired with a maple neck featuring a Medium C profile and maple fingerboard with a traditional 7.25” radius. The guitar has been refretted and is fitted with a Tusq nut to maintain comfortable playability. As a consequence of the refret work, the neck shows an overspray, consistent with the type of restoration carried out on the instrument. Most importantly, the pickups remain original and preserve the authentic sonic identity of the guitar. The bridge pickup delivers the unmistakable Telecaster attack, bite and twang, while the neck pickup offers a warmer and rounder voice without sacrificing clarity. The overall response is highly dynamic and reacts beautifully to every nuance of the player’s touch. The vintage string-through bridge further enhances the direct response, natural sustain and strong midrange presence typical of a great Telecaster. One capacitor in the electronics has been replaced, while the original pickups remain in place.
