Overview
The AMT Electronics SS-20 is a tube guitar preamp pedal with two channels, one clean and one with overdrive and distortion. Each channel features a 3-band EQ and individual input and output level controls. The left side footswitch toggles between channels, and the right side footswitch toggles a lead boost on the dirty channel.
The SS-20 is designed to be used straight into a power amp, usually via the FX Loop return. As well, a speaker-simulated output is provided for use direct to mixer or interface.
