Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a well loved 1979 Gibson The SG with a solid Walnut body and two killer T-Tops.   The pickups made this one special, and the Zebra bridge is a total bonus.  The pickups read 7.73k ohms at the neck and 7.79k at the bridge.  They're full, warm, and clean up well.  Turn up the drive and they deliver that signature PAF chewy drive with plenty of sweetness on top.  24.75" scale, 16" radius, 7.6 lbs.   Walnut body and neck, Rosewood fretboard.  Comes safely packed in the non-original Gibson branded case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .85"-1.03" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a great medium C carve that beefs up nicely.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings and low action at 3/64"-2/64".  The frets are leveled, crowned and polished.  The fretboard is clean and conditioned.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.   There were body seam separations that our luthier was able to close up nicely and perforn a little fill.  It's all in the photos.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
