This is Gretsch's professional, USA-made, top-of-the-line kit from the early 2000's. This was my main touring /studio set for several years and has some scuffs and scratches from said-gigging (see pictures). However, the shells are solid, they sound incredible and are in perfect working condition! It has the oil-rubbed satin lacquer that has a light sheen from the stage, but doesn't glare like glossy finishes...I've always preferred these finishes on my drum sets and acoustic guitars. I'm sad to say goodbye and want her to keep getting played, but I've acquired too many kits and don't put fusion sizes to enough use these days.
