Original circa 1965 Gibson Folk Instruments catalog, a colorful mid-’60s publication devoted to Gibson’s flat-tops, classical and tenor guitars, and banjos. Featured models include the J-200, Dove, Everly Brothers, Hummingbird, J-45, C-8 and C-6 classics, along with numerous Mastertone and folk banjos, all illustrated with detailed specifications and available case options. Dating to approximately 1965, this is a scarce and visually striking piece of Gibson literature from the company’s classic Kalamazoo era. This example shows honest vintage handling, fold and edge wear, some light staining and a few handwritten dealer notations, but remains complete and highly collectible.
