A set of Gretsch Broadkaster drums in Satin Burnt Orange. Contemporary bop sizes—8x12" tom, 14x14" floor tom, 14x18" kick, with matching 5.5x14" snare. This kit has been kept in beautiful condition.
The late-'90s/early-aughts Gretsch Broadkaster drums were a short-lived offering that nevertheless—and for good reason—still hold a special place in many drummers' hearts.
Originally marketed in partnership of Harvey Mason, these are essentially USA Custom drums in all specs, with a unique "Gunmetal Grey" coating on the lugs and hoops, matching square badge, and a range of unique finishes, including this Satin Burnt Orange. These drums also mark the end of the company's use of Jasper shells, which many drummers consider to be the most desirable of the Gretsch formula shells. Rich, articulate, and loaded with personality, these drums are a lovely bit of contemporary Gretsch history.
