Reviving one of the most popular dynamic studio and live microphones of the 1960s, the WA-19 combines the critical off-axis rejection, reduced proximity effect and rugged metal construction of a dynamic microphone with the added clarity and detail of a studio-grade condenser microphone. The built-in low-cut can attenuate up to 10 dB at 50 Hz to eliminate rumbling low frequencies. This makes the WA-19 ideal for detailed recordings of cymbals/overheads, acoustic guitar, studio and live vocals, snare bottom, guitar cabinets and more. The WA-19 offers the ideal balance between dynamic functionality and condenser-like character for a dynamic studio microphone that can be used for almost anything, in the studio or live.
