This Viscount has completely changed status for me.

It was originally seen by many as a kind of toy, or at least a very unusual vintage home instrument. But after using it on a recent record, I can say this with total confidence: it is a fantastic instrument.

It has a unique character, a strong identity, and an immediately inspiring sound. For pop, retro-pop, indie, soundtrack work, and creative studio production, it is simply brilliant.

And yes: the sound, drum sounds are epic.

This is not being sold as a forgotten vintage curiosity.

This is being offered as a fully working, fully serviced, artistically valuable instrument that has just proven itself in a real recording context.

Condition and technical status

This organ has been carefully adjusted, cleaned in every detail, and fully tested.

Everything works 100%:

• all notes working correctly

• all pedals working correctly

• expression pedal working

• volume pedal working

• no distortion in the output stage

• speakers/cones in perfect condition

• contacts cleaned

• fully tested and ready to use

In short: everything is working exactly as it should.

It was also just used on a record by an important artist, which for me says a lot about its real musical value. It is not just collectible or visually charming — it is genuinely useful, inspiring, and record-worthy.

Why I think it is special

Maybe it was born as a playful object.

Today, in my opinion, it is something else entirely: a wonderful vintage instrument with real personality, capable of delivering colors and textures that modern instruments often cannot.

It has that rare quality where you touch it and immediately start writing music.
