This is the Master Effects Transmission Bass Preamp.
A faithful recreation of the original preamp found on the Yamaha BB1200 basses in the late 70s/early 80s made famous by Peter Hook of Joy Division, New Order, and Peter Hook and The Light.
You can now have this preamp with any bass that you own without modifying anything.
The preamp features a 3-band Boost/Cut EQ and a BJT-based volume recovery stage with a flat EQ response to to minimize any colouration of your tone.
