How's it going! you're looking at a Early 70s Mosrite Stereo 350 Natural Finish Electric Guitar W/ Mosrite Gig Bag!Made in California in the early '70s, this incredibly rare Mosrite Stereo 350 electric guitar is a fascinating piece of American luthiery. Hand-crafted during Semie Moseley’s limited production run, this player-grade instrument features a distinctive offset single-cutaway natural wood body, dual humbucking pickups, and its signature dual-jack stereo output configuration. Stamped directly into the end of the rosewood fretboard is serial number A0222, firmly placing it among the estimated few hundred units ever produced. In hand, the guitar immediately showcases the famously slim, fast-playing neck profile that Mosrite is celebrated for. The upgraded vintage West German Schaller tuners turn smoothly and keep tuning rock-solid under heavy string bending, solving a common reliability issue found with original '70s open-back hardware. Sonically, this guitar is an absolute powerhouse; the dual humbuckers yield a rich, punchy midrange with a fat, warm low end when plugged into a clean tube amplifier, turning beautifully gritty and articulate when kicked into high overdrive. The real magic happens when you engage the mini slide-switch into stereo mode, which routes the neck pickup to one amplifier and the bridge pickup to another to create a massive, three-dimensional wall of sound that standard mono guitars simply cannot replicate. Cosmetically, this guitar is in good used condition showing typical playwear and a few minor dings and scratches around the body and neck. There is a crack near the top of the neck and headstock which has been professionally repaired and remains solid and intact. The guitar shows age related patina around the body and the neck including some cracks and chips in the binding on either side of the neck. There is also a faint personalized inscription on the pickguard just above the slide switch that reads "Rus Buckmaster," a nod to its past life as a stage-played instrument by a local country musician. The tuners have been upgraded with Schallers and the original knobs have been changed. Please refer to the photos provided for the most accurate representation of its physical condition. All of the electronics are in working order and the neck is straight. The intonation is spot on, the action is excellent and while there is some minor fret wear apparent from previous use, it will not affect the playability of the guitar. This guitar has been professionally set up with new strings and weighs in at 9 pounds, 6 ounces. This guitar comes with a Mosrite gig bag and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner for years to come!
