2000 Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass V, made in USA. Serial DZ0257692 (DZ0 prefix = 2000), first-generation run of this model.Alder body in 3-Color Sunburst, maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods, pau ferro fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, 34" scale, 18V active 3-band EQ.I bought it in the USA in 2014.Pickups — DelanoThe bass is fitted with Delano pickups: a split-coil in the neck position and an MM-style humbucker at the bridge. They were already installed when I bought it, so I can't say who did the work or when. Delano is a German boutique maker used by builders like Sandberg, Marleaux and Mayones — a serious upgrade over stock, with more attack, tighter lows and a fat StingRay-ish bridge sound.The original Fender pickups are included, in a box.Other modificationsThe pickguard has been replaced. The original tortoiseshell pickguard is included — see photos.ConditionElectronics fully working. The 18V preamp works as it should, all pots are quiet, no crackle.Neck is straight, truss rod works.Frets in good shape with plenty of life left. I can't confirm whether they were ever replaced.The G tuner key is very slightly bent — barely visible in the photos.
