Alembic Mark King Signature 5-string bass, built in 1996.
Bass weighs 12.8 lbs., according to my bathroom scale.
There are a few dings in the finish, which I have pictured.
The Dunlop strap locks were switched for Schallers. (Originals are included.)
Wrenches for the bridge, nut and neck, plus some extra screws for the brass control cavity and truss rod covers are included in the sale.
Frets are clean, level and polished, and the ebony fingerboard is also clean.
String-spacing at the bridge is 14mm.
A new one of these instruments is $22,000, according to Alembic's 2026 price sheet.
