The Sound Edge bottom cymbal features Paiste’s famous rippled edge, helping to prevent air-lock and giving the hats an Extremely Clean, Crisp response. They produce a Cutting “CHICK”, with a LIVELY OPEN SOUND.
At 17”, they have a noticeably LARGER AND FULLER CHARACTER than standard 14” hats, while retaining the fast response and clarity associated with the 2002 series. They work beautifully for rock, pop, funk, alternative and live performance, particularly when you want hi-hats with PLENTY OF PRESENCE AND PROJECTION!
