The John 5 Phantom Telecaster® is his take on a Tele built for high-gain playing: an all-black instrument with a matching headcap, two DiMarzio® D Activator™ humbuckers and a Floyd Rose® double-locking tremolo. John 5 has played Telecasters throughout a career that runs through David Lee Roth, Rob Zombie and Mötley Crüe, and this signature model keeps the shape he loves while taking it well past traditional Tele territory. The controls are stripped to the essentials — a single volume knob, a three-way pickup switch and a killswitch for stutter effects. The custom medium "C" maple neck carries a 12" radius ebony fingerboard with 22 narrow tall frets, and the Floyd Rose® FRTS2000 tremolo with locking nut holds its tuning through heavy use of the bar.FeaturesJohn 5 signature Telecaster® in black with a matching headcapTwo DiMarzio® D Activator™ humbucking pickupsFloyd Rose® FRTS2000 double-locking tremolo with locking nutSingle volume control and killswitchCustom John 5 medium "C" maple neckEbony fingerboard, 12" radius, 22 narrow tall fretsSignature neck plate SpecsSeries: Artist SignatureColour: BlackBody: Nyatoh, Gloss Urethane top, Satin Urethane backNeck: Maple, Custom John 5 Medium "C", Satin finishScale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)Fingerboard: Ebony, 12" (305 mm) radiusFrets: 22, Narrow TallPosition Inlays: White Dot (white side dots)Nut: Floyd Rose® Special Locking, 1.69" (43 mm)Pickups: Two DiMarzio® D Activator™ (black covers)Controls: Master Volume, KillswitchSwitching: 3-Position: Bridge, Bridge and Neck, NeckBridge: Floyd Rose® FRTS2000 Double Locking 2-Point TremoloHardware Finish: BlackPickguard: 1-Ply AnodizedControl Knobs: Black SpeedStrings: Nickel Plated Steel (.009-.042)Tapestry Music ships from Canada! ***For USA & International customers: Customs, Brokerage, VAT, Tariff and Duty costs are the responsibility of the customer.
