Common topics from our Help Centre

How long do I have to ship an item after it sells?
We expect sellers to ship items within three business days of the buyer paying for it. If you can't ship within this timeframe, you should message the buyer to let them know.
What happens if I use a Reverb postage label but don't opt for Safe Delivery?
If the buyer reports damage within the seven-day protection window and you opted out of Safe Delivery, you'll need to work with the buyer on a resolution since the shipment isn't protected by Reverb or the courier. Learn more about Safe Delivery.
How much does Safe Delivery cost?
Safe Delivery is paid for by the buyer and is a smaller percentage of the sale price amount, depending on the type of instrument and its destination. You'll see the cost of adding Safe Delivery when you're creating your postage label. Learn more about Safe Delivery.
Do I have to buy a postage label from Reverb?
No. However, once you get your postage label from the courier, be sure to manually enter the tracking information on the order to make sure you get paid. With postage labels on Reverb, the tracking information is automatically entered for you. Learn more about postage labels from Reverb.
How do I edit or cancel a postage label?
Your postage label details can be viewed and modified on your Orders page. Find your order and edit the tracking information or cancel the label (if it hasn't been scanned). Learn more about postage labels from Reverb.
How do I make a claim if my item is damaged during shipping?
Go to your Orders page and select "Make a Claim" to file a claim with XCover. Our insurance partner will work with you to quickly resolve the issue. Learn more about the Safe Delivery claims process.
How does my buyer know once I've shipped the order?
