SABIAN 14" XSR Monarch Hat Bottom

The XSR Monarch Hat Bottom delivers a responsive, articulate feel with crisp stick definition and excellent control. This bottom cymbal sits low in the hand with a compact footprint, making it equally comfortable for tight playing spaces and expansive kit setups. The Monarch series strikes a balance between bright clarity and warm undertones, offering versatility across multiple musical contexts.

Construction & Material

Cast from premium B20 bronze and machine-hammered with full lathing, this cymbal features enhanced profiles and a reshaped bell that concentrate frequencies for punchy articulation. The medium-thin bottom thickness allows for faster response while maintaining structural integrity and durability during extended play.

Tonal Character

The small bell design minimizes washy overtones, producing tight, focused stick attacks ideal for defined hat sounds in both live and studio environments. The hammering pattern works in concert with the B20 alloy to deliver a balanced spectrum—bright enough for cut without sacrificing the warm, musical body that defines the XSR line.
