Video: Revv D20 All-Tube Amp with Virtual Cabinets Demo

Maybe you've been wanting to explore the vast tonal possibilities of speaker cabinet simulations, but you don't want to give up your pure tube tone. Perhaps the Revv Amplification D20 is just what you need.

An all-tube 20W head (that can be attenuated to just 4W for low-volume playing), the D20 gives plenty of headroom or purring tube drive. But it also packs a reactive load and virtual speaker cabinet tech courtesy of Two Notes, one of the leaders in the field.

You can use a standard speaker cabinet of your choice or choose to use the built-in reactive load and any of six built-in virtual cabinet options, which you can go out directly to a venue's FOH board, into a recording interface, or through headphones. You can also combine standard and virtual cabinets for a hybrid sound.

Using the USB connection, you can dive into the Two Notes software to change virtual rooms, mic placements, speakers, power amp tube swap simulations, and more. And Revv's own G3 and G4 pedals can bring distortion perfectly matched to the D20 for higher-gain tones.
