Alembic has producing high-end basses since 1971 and stands as one of the original custom bass shops. Alembic basses like this Persuader from the mid 80's are highly customizable, offering bassists unique wood and electronic combinations.
The bass shows some wear from normal use but everything works beautifully. This bass has one of the beefiest front pickups we have ever heard. Sort of P bass with a lot more definition and detail. The bridge pickup really complements the sound adding more bite and detail. Alembic's trademark High Pass Filter proves that a lot of sonic variation is possible using just one single knob.
