The Sennheiser MD416 is the holy grail of live vocal microphones. Featuring a Sennheiser capsule also used in the famous MD409, these are just wonderful dynamic mics, and an absolute steal compared to their siblings in the Sennheiser family of the day. All electronics are shock-mounted inside of the mic's housing, virtually eliminating holding noise. The shockmounting also keeps these microphones in fantastic shape over time.
When stand mounted, it's also worth mentioning that this is pretty (pretty pretty) similar guts to a 409 in a more robust, similarly beautiful housing. The MD416 N is the tuchel version of this microphone, an XLR equipped version was also produced (MD416-U).
Microphone has been internally clean, diaphragm is ready for full effect, a professionally made tuchel tail is included too.
This particular mic is in fantastic cosmetic shape. There is a very minor dent on one side of the grill.
