1980s Korg CX3 Hammond Tonewheel Modeling Drawbar Organ Analog Keyboard

Up for sale, a 1980s Korg CX-3 organ in excellent condition and in good working order. This CX-3 was the first version of this now legendary model, and this particular example is extremely clean cosmetically, with all functions working as they should. Created as a portable, analog solution to the Hammond B3, the CX-3 faithfully captures the nuance and tonal richness of a tonewheel organ, complete with a set of nine drawbars, a master EQ section, and a built-in rotary speaker simulator. The keys are level and balanced, and the response is consistent across all registers. The keycaps are clean and white, with no cracks or notable signs of wear.
The enclosure is in fantastic shape, especially given the age and the propensity for the laminate on the keyboard top and cheek blocks to show wear. The raised Korg logo on the face of the organ is intact, and aside from a few light scuffs on the exterior, there is no notable wear. The underside of the organ has original flanges for mounting legs when you want the CX-3 to stand on its own, and the stock two-prong power cable is also present.
Perfect for a studio environment and an ideal gigging setup as well, this is an extremely well cared for and desirable organ that faithfully captures Hammond's classic organ tones.
