The parameters to be changed can be conveniently read off at Display, so that a good overview is always available even during live situations.Connected at all timesIn addition to the obligatory line I/O, the S4 can also be used in a setup with analogue control signals - thanks to the analogue SYNC I/O. But the big MIDI world is not neglected either, as the S4 has also been equipped with a MIDI I/O. Ableton users can also look forward to Ableton Link compatibility via WiFi.Update 2.0 with numerous improvements and new featuresWith OS 2.0, Torso Electronics is giving the S4 its biggest update since its launch. The update includes a complete overhaul of the core engine, brings improvements and expands the functions of the S4. Highlights include macro controls, scenes, varispeed recording, playback with unlimited sample length and new dynamic modulation options. The display has also been comprehensively redesigned. New functions such as copying and duplicating make handling much easier, both of which contribute immensely to an improved workflow.
