Rare Fender Stratocaster Model ST-500VM Fujigen Kill Switch MOD - 2009

Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a modified 1990 Fender Stratocaster Model ST-500 by Fujigen.  She's a great looker with that classic Tort on Black look.  These feature an alder body, ST Modern Alnico Single Coils with the cloth covered wires, 22 frets, and CTS pots.  It's a high spec model.   This one has been modified with a set of block saddles, a kill switch, a Tortoise pickguard, and fretboard finish delete.   It's getting killer patina with every session.  The precision Gotoh tuners turn smoothly and keep it all at pitch.  It's all well done and yields the same 5 way switch options with a master Volume and tone.  

The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .81"-.91" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a medium oval C profile that's very accessible and comfy.  The frets exhibit only faint signs of wear if examined closely.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  Fresh set of nickel 9.5's and perfect intonation.  25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, and 7.9 lbs. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
