The Meinl AESLRB Artisan Edition Cajon Soleá Line with Red Burst front panel is a Cajon handmade in Spain. The special thing about the Artisan Cajons of the Meinl Soleá Line is that two groups of four pre-tuned and hand-wound guitar strings each are stretched over the inside of the striking surface, creating the crisp snare effect. Rounded corners and thumb notches on the top of the front panel improve playing comfort and sound. The 9-layer, 12 mm thick Baltic Birch body gives the sound a full, powerful character that articulates itself clearly and with a lot of warmth. A specially developed bass reflex system inside the Cajon emphasizes the low frequencies while playing. The Meinl Artisan Cajons are handmade in Spain by Cajon master builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz.
