The previous owner restrung this one with some Labella strings where the strings fit by the nut but the ball end does not fit perfectly on the back, easy to change strings but as they are fresh we leave it as it is, according to him: "Strings: La Bella 767-6N Bass VI (026–095, firmer than the floppy 024–084 original strings)".

The SRC6MS-BLL is tuned like a guitar but an octave lower, combining the weight of a bass with the playability of a guitar. The 30-inch multi-scale neck ensures that the thinner strings do not become overly tight, while the thicker strings retain their tension. Bartolini BH2 pickups and an active 3-band EQ provide control over the rich natural midrange of the okoume wood.
