With the Gibson L-00 Original VSB acoustic guitar, the traditional manufacturer Gibson expands its product range by a selection of their most famous models with detailed equipment and optics. The relatively small L-00 model can build up a surprising amount of volume thanks to its all solid construction, consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body. This combination offers distinct mid frequencies that are softly coloured by the warm tones of mahogany wood, making the instrument especially suitable for blues picking and fingerstyle. A thin nitro lacquer combined with a Scalloped-X-Bracing and lightweight construction helps produce long lasting notes that fade softly into the overtones. Due to a short mahogany neck with a spacious rosewood fretboard, the Gibson L-00 Original VSB offers an excellent grip in all 19 frets and, thanks to a 43.8 mm nut width, provides enough room to comfortably handle even extensive fingerings.The characteristic Gibson headstock is equipped with authentic Golden-Age nickel tuners which, in combination with the old Gibson logo, subtly recalls the good old days of guitar building.  A high quality L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system amplifies the natural sound and makes the L-00 acoustic guitar a perfect companion on stage and in the rehearsal room.
