The Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera Dark Wine Red is a faithful replica of Noel's early 80s Riviera, which was instrumental in shaping the iconic sound of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe and became known to a wider audience at least since its appearance on the David Letterman Show in 1995. Traditional manufacturer Epiphone received Noel's permission to analyze the privately owned Semihollow electric guitar down to the smallest detail, and to offer fans and collectors an amazingly accurate reissue of the instrument as part of the Epiphone Core Line and including Epiphone Hardshell Case!

The classic Riviera design is composed of a body made entirely of five-ply maple laminate with traditional F-holes. Thanks to the characteristic arching of the top and back, the Riviera provides additional body volume and resonance, while the center block effectively minimizes the instrument's susceptibility to feedback at the amplifier. The body is finished off with beautiful cream binding on the front and back and a classy Dark Wine Red finish.

In contrast to many Riviera models of the seventies and eighties equipped with mini humbuckers, the Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera Dark Wine Red follows the original and has two normal double coilers in the classic format. For this, Epiphone relies on the warm and full sound of two Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, which come up with amazing sound qualities both in the clean channel and played on the fully turned up tube behemoth. For the adjustment of both pickups are separate controls for Volume and Tone available with classic Witch Hat Knobs.

The hardware equipment of the Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera Dark Wine Red is formed by high-quality as well as functional in-house parts in a uniform nickel finish.
