First launched in 2005, the Paiste cymbals from the entry-level PST5 series quickly became a bestseller thanks to their solid sound and fair price. Like its significantly more expensive counterparts, the PST5 series offers high-quality bronze cymbals, which are fine-tuned for optimal tonal presence using the expertise and long-standing experience of the renowned Swiss cymbal manufacturer Paiste.

With the 2014 version, the PST5 cymbals have been adapted to meet the modern demands of contemporary musical styles through a reworking of the manufacturing process, and are now more musical overall than before. Lighter weight, a warmer tone, greater flexibility, affordable prices and the best possible playing feel make Paiste’s PST5 cymbals the ideal instrument for beginners; yet, thanks to their durability, they are also popular accessories among professional drummers.
