The sE Electronics V7X Black has been developed for miking a wide variety of instruments. The specially tuned dynamic capsule with an aluminium voice coil delivers an open, natural sound with clear highs and a powerful low-frequency response. This makes the microphone suitable for both on-stage amplification and studio recording.

Typical applications include electric guitar and bass amplifiers, snare and tom drums, wind instruments and choirs. The balanced tuning supports a assertive sound without distorting the characteristic qualities of the respective sound source.

The supercardioid polar pattern helps to isolate the desired instrument from other sound sources on stage. This reduces signals coming in from the sides and helps to prevent feedback. This can make targeted miking easier, particularly in loud live set-ups with multiple instruments.

The patented, integrated capsule suspension decouples the microphone capsule from the body, reducing handling noise, impact noise and low-frequency interference. This ensures the audio signal remains clear and present even during high-energy performances.

An integrated red windscreen reduces unwanted wind and plosive noises. An additional black windscreen is also included, allowing for subtle visual customisation.
