TED Digisound Reverse Tom Module - 1 Pot needs fix

TED DIGISOUND REVERSE-TOM MODULE – Needs repair.

Rare, Dutch made unit from 1984. Was used in a display setup in a shop for a short time only and looks as new but got a tiny scratch. Not surprising after being stored and moved without the original box during the last 40 years.

The original Tom sound used for this unit is from the Simmons SDS-5, a sound which, after introduction, quickly became the "Electronic Trom" standard in the recording world. Before this early sampling technology, a reverse sound was something that had to be made by running a tape with the recorded sound backwards and mixing it in the final recording. Certainly tricky business but suddenly available at the push of a button.

Unfortunately the output pot's axis somehow lost it's connection and now turns freely. Either has to be replaced (a 2-prong screwdriver needed to disconnect it from the case) or bypassed and the volume adjusted on the mixer. Because I will no longer open equipment for repair anymore, the alternative is offering it for a price making it worth the effort for someone else.

Supplied is a copy of the schematics, useful for keeping the unit alive in the future with the proper care.
