The Afroton Caxixi Gigante is a traditional percussion instrument from West Africa that impresses with its particularly fine rattan weave and sturdy gourd base. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship and precise filling material, it produces a clearly defined sound, ideal for rhythmic support of djembes or other percussion instruments. Each of these caxixis is carefully crafted by hand. The elaborate braiding technique not only ensures stability, but also makes each one a unique work of art. The natural filling material is optimally balanced to produce a differentiated and controlled sound.
