- Set of strings for electric guitar
- Nickel-plated steel winding
- Brass wire winding on the ball end of the plain strings
- Gauges 10–48
- Rich overtones and a ‘Slinky’ playing feel
The Ernie Ball EB2244 RPS Ultra Slinky Reinforced Plain Strings combine the popular ‘Slinky’ feel with a particularly robust construction. The wound strings are made from nickel-plated steel and deliver a brilliant, assertive electric guitar sound with rich overtones.
A distinctive feature of the RPS series lies in the plain strings: at the ball end, an additional winding of brass wire provides reinforcement in this particularly high-stress area. This makes the set ideal for guitarists who want to combine the smooth playing feel of Ernie Ball with added stability.
