The Earthquaker Devices Easy Listening Stereo is the ultimate secret weapon for pedalboards. As an authentic-sounding amp and cabinet simulation, this innovative pedal from the effects tinkerers in Akron, Ohio, is at home at the end of the effects chain and offers an excellent alternative to loud amp power stages. The control layout of the Easy Listening Stereo comprises a 3-band equaliser with strategically placed frequency bands and a large level control for setting the output volume. This is complemented by a further volume control that sets the level of the aux input. A particular highlight of the pedal, however, is its wide range of connection options. In addition to the headphone socket, there are two XLR outputs on board, making it incredibly easy to route the Easy Listening’s output signal in stereo format to mixing desks, PA systems or recording devices.
