Charvel SKatecaster SK-3, transparent red, made in China circa 2012. The Skatecaster model brought back the cool vintage lines of the 90s-era Surfcaster models, but with some updated aesthetics and modern metal conveniences. This one weighs in at 3.2kg, which is super light, and plays pretty quickly up and down the whole 24-fret board. The pickups are hot and heavy, with abundant output and low end, perfect with a dirty amp and some chuggs and wails. We did the morally correct thing and set this up with hefty strings in drop C, so it's ready to roll. Do a kickflip!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the front, and a fade mark on the back from where the serial sticker was. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor dimples around the cavity and back edge, as well as minor scuffs around the whole body. The sides have minor scuffs around the whole body and dimples near the jack. The front has dimples along the back edge, scuffs around the tailpiece and knobs and play wear on the horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 12/54 Moonshiners strings and tuned to drop C.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
