Here we have an absolutely beautiful Pre Owned Gibson Hummingbird Standard Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Made in Bozeman Montana, USA in 2017. This guitar has a Mahogany body with a solid Sitka Spruce top. Mahogany neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. Classic Parallelogram inlays. Full gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. TUSQ nut and saddle for superior sound and stability. Grover Rotomatic tuning machines up top to keep things in check. The Hummingbird Standard is also loaded with an LR Baggs VTC pickup. There are controls for Volume and Tone on the inside of the sound hole. This guitar comes with its original hard shell case. The case is in very good shape with some scuffs and marks. All latches and hinges are working nicely. This Hummingbird has been pro setup by our technician and plays like a dream. Strung with D'Addario 11-52's. The guitar plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard. The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working perfectly with good travel in both directions. The frets are in very good condition with some light play wear. Cosmetically, this guitar is in good to very good condition. There are marks, scuffs, indents and scratches throughout the instruments finish. There is noticeable wear through the finish at the top of the sound hole. There are pick scuffs around the same area. There are small indents and marks on the top. There is a repair finish crack on the lower bout on the bass side edge. It has been professional repaired and is smooth to the touch. It will present no issues for the future. There is a repaired center top crack from the bridge down to the bottom. It has also been nicely done and is solid. The back of the guitar has scuffs and marks as well as the sides. There is some belt buckle rash but not through the finish. The head stock has some visible wear and the back of the neck has a few small indents and marks. All in all, this Hummingbird Standard is not a case queen and would be considered "players" condition. If you don't mind a some marks and previous repairs, this is the one that's perfect to gig with. It is setup and ready for a new home. The shorter scale really makes these guitars play super easy and ring out like a bell. Nice full sound and an absolute pleasure to strum. Add this one to your collection today.
