Here's a 1964 Gretsch 6122 Country Gentleman in Walnut Brown finish. We've been buying and selling '64 Country Gents for many years now, and this is hands down one of the best playing and sounding examples that we've comes across. It's just got it! The guitar is 100% original, with no breaks/cracks/repairs. Binding is fully in tact, with no rotting on the body or neck binding. The neck has a comfortable medium profile, and plays with ease! Neck straight, action is low. Frets are in good shape as well. The guitar features a Super'Tron pickup in the neck, and a Filter'Tron pickup in the bridge, which is an amazing sounding pickup configuration, unique to 1964. Both are strong, and wonderfully articulate. Big tonal palate. The Bigsby is smooth and stays in tune. Then of course the original red felt mutes, which, and this is rare....work great!! You can actually use the mute. Tip top example from top to bottom. OHSC!
