"Forever Randy - Brass Pyramid" is one of my second trio of loose replicas of a famous Randy strap. Oh the things I learned from my prototypes back in 2023! That helped this new 2026 run come off my bench much better, far superior! Those first ones were quality auto vinyl, but this run is done in beautiful black leather. Understand It's not always simple to adapt a famous star strap from the past to my own padded and lined design, with padding and softly rolled edges along the sides. Actually, it'd be LOT easier to do a true replica, but such straps cannot benefit you with my pillowy famous Well-Hung comfort.
Expect "Forever Randy" to be a high quality strap built to my typical Well-Hung standards, long, strong and like it belongs! This Brass Pyramid one-off is LONG! It adjusts 48"-64" The shortest it goes is about the same where many store straps max out. The extra 14" gives you tall guys some freedom! It was the Shorty straps that used to make my rage boil whenever I ordered them online. I measure my straps hole-to-hole, not tip to tip. If you are six feet tall, or more, you already know you probably want a little extra.
"Forever Randy" has a strong reinforced leather nose, adjustment ladder and tail strap - again in black leather. The original I was working off appears to have had no lining or padding, so all those rivets / studs were just poundin' away at the poor guy, much like Sharon it seems. No claws or rivets poking through to rip up your shirt, or you! Also, the lining is a nice quality black velvety fabric with nice anti-slip properties and will dry out pretty fast. I would call this sling padded in a "heavy" way, compared to the rest of my straps, quite a bit more than even most "comfort" straps by other outfits. I can pretty much guarantee this Well-Hung version is exponentially more comfortable than what Randy suffered under.
Two other things I found looking at old pics of the original online. I think Randy's was a bit wider, it looks like possibly 3.5" wide on his smallish frame. To my eye 3.5" looks a bit too beefy on most guitarists ( a bit comical on him actually), so I kept my version to my typical 3" wide platform. Also, after looking at the limited number of photos available, most of 'em black & white, I found a couple pics of this strap where we can see the original was indeed in black leather (possibly suede?), however the rivet/studwork was done in brass, either naturally tarnished, or antiqued. Every strapmaker replica version of this strap I've seen on offer seems to be made in nickel. OH MY! Another RR controversy looms! Anyway, thought that was interesting, see pics. This one is in antique brass, or dark chrome. In the centre of each circle containing the proper 9 circular rivet heads, is a matching brassy pyramid claw stud. I did this to vary things up a bit so you'll have something that's not a direct clone, at least a little bit your own thing.
This "Forever Randy - Brass Pyramid" goes WAY longer than typical guitars straps. It adjusts from 48"- 64." Be sure. Do NOT buy this sling then message me back eight days later saying "IT'S TOO DAMN LONG!" Yes, kemosabe, it's LONG! Most ladderback straps in the stores END at about 50" at max adjustment, so bear that in mind. Big fellas or low hangers will love this one, find it super comfy. Extra length is required for "throwing" all the "shapes" that get the girlies sqealin'. You can't do those moves ridin' high. And... oh the comfort? My padded 3" footprint spreads your guitar weight out over a larger footprint reducing hammering on pressure points. Inside the main body I build in approx 22" of specially carved 'n layered foam padding that'll force sexy guitarist "O" face out of you afore you even bend a note. This is for real - and why they call me the Wizard of Ahhhs! I choose padding carefully so my straps don't look poofy and sit up high. They compress perfectly and don't look like orthopedic medical devices from the "old man" store. Thank me later! Most Well-Hung straps also feature rolled-over edges that go easy on your neck and don't rasp against you like an angry lover. Long and short, if you want to enjoy a new future in comfort and style while rippin' wicked new riffs as a Well-Hung guitarist, buy this now. There is ONLY ONE. Might be years until I decide to do these again... it is kind of a fiddly job.
As a bit of a guitarist myself, I feel the perfect hang is VERY important. If you're still reading... I'll bet you agree! Front and back end of this one, find good leather, and holes that won't spit out your pins when you bend down to tweak a pedal. This makes for great value in your investment and a long life ahead, which will please you every time you wear it. To me, there's little sense in making the most comfortable strap in the world, unless you also make it extra trusty and long-lasting.
Well-Hung straps are borne to perform.
Describing differences of my work compared to others in words / pictures is difficult but I try. It's way more apparent once you hold it, then duck under and put it to work. See my feedbacks for verification.

My 'merican brothers, your shipping cost is now higher. I've struggled for months on how to re-open my store for your market. Only way is add the new US-imposed duty to your shipping, plus a small fee to facilitate my pre-payment of it via the Zonos app. Otherwise, I cannot ship. Here's how it works: I can't ship 'til all duties get pre-paid to your government. I've added the extra cost to USA shipping to cover your duty in advance. It’s the only way I can ship. Once I ship, Reverb pays me back. There's NO extra profit for me here, only a carefully-calculated expense (and quite a bit more back end work!). Your top dude chose tariffs & duty as a sort of import tax, so they’re on you. I've made NO price increases on my goods or shipping for any other market, so fair value remains. My sincere hope is no surprises. Zonos estimates duty costs, so there *may* be small discrepancies, but they assure shippers it’s rare. If your landed cost ends up over $10 US more than what you paid, and you paid FULL asking price (not an offer), please contact me with details and receipts. Please know this duty situation is as frustrating for me as it may be for you and I thank you for understanding. Above all, I just want to make sure your guitars are Well-Hung! Not here to quibble, prices for shipping + tariffs are rounded up or down to the nearest dollar. Questions regarding the new W-H store policy for USA shipping? Message me prior to purchase.
