Brian May Guitars BMG Red Special 2020 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Brian May Guitars BMG Special in Red finish. Built in 2020 this guitar features an Acoustic Chambered Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard, 24 frets and a zero fret, Grover Rotomatic locking machine heads, a Wilkinson WVP Knife Edge Tremolo, along with a trio of BM Brand Tri-Sonic style single coil pickups, wired to independent on/off and phase slider switches, along with master volume and tone controls.

The gloss neck plays well, offering a smooth and quick playing surface and the profile being an even ‘C’ shape, great for comfortable thumb positioning. The dual cutaways give great access right up to the 24th fret and the frets feel rock solid, making for easy bends.

The trio of BM Brand Tri-Sonic style single coil pickups sound crisp and clear, with a sweet low end, an open midrange and articulate highs. Each pickup is controlled by individual on/off and phase slider switches, allowing for a wide variety of tones. The pickups share master volume and tone controls for easy sonic sculpting.

Headstock: The headstock shows minimal marking apart from a small scuff imperfection to the top edge side.

Neck: Excellent condition

Body: Under very bright lighting it is possible to see some very light markings to the finish but I would not deem these significant. The film is still on the plastics on the guitar body showing how well it has been cared for.
