The body is in okay condition, some scratches and blemishes in the paint job here and there, especially on the back, but it plays and works great. Bass was manufactured in 2004.
The electronics, however, are excellent! I swapped the crappy Ibanez brand pickups for a set of EMG X-series pickups (45DC-X and 45CS-X) as well as the EMG BQS control system (VERY thorough EQ system) and covered the inside cavities with some copper tape for noise reduction. The electronics pickup little-to-no background noise from their surroundings, it's great for home recordings. The new pickups were slightly larger than the original pickup cavities, so I had to route out a bit more wood to fit them, but I didn't do the cleeeeanest job of it (you can see the top edges of the cavities are quite a bit rougher than the bottom).
This is a dope bass, I'm just looking to downsize. I'm more of a guitarist, and I rarely use all 6 strings, personally.
