This kit is in great working condition and sounds amazing. I would call this a fusion kit that can easily traverse into rock, jazz, or metal depending on the heads. It has a rich booming sound with incredible low end from the bubinga wood. There are absolutely no functional or sonic issues with this kit aside from a bit of dirt and scrapes. It will be with you a long time. I kept this kit in one place for a few months and played jazz very carefully with it. Sounds 100% like the late Tony Williams kit!
Toms: 8x10, 9x12, 14x16
Bass drum: 18x22
Snare: 14x5.5 (I bought this snare separately and it is black unlike the rest of the kit, but it is still Starclassic Performer B/B)
Please notice in the photos there is a small scrape in the bass drum and 9x12 tom’s paint. Totally cosmetic and hard to see.
These will come with the heads shown (slightly used Remo Ambassadors) and all the hoops/lugs/tom mounting stuff. I’ll include the cheap snare stand for 20$ if you want.
If you want to buy the snare by itself, or everything else without the snare, let me know.
