Overview
For a lesser-known blues machine with a signature style to match, the Gibson Blueshawk delivers in spades with a semi-hollow body design, pair of custom P90 pickups, and a six-way Varitone switch for a world of warmth. Developed and marketed in the mid to late '90s, the Blueshawk fused the smaller shape of a solid body with the open presence of a hollow body to allow players a comfortable feel with a tone that could get big and gritty. One of the more affordable Gibsons on the market, the Blueshawk an American-made diamond in the rough.
