This is a 2016 model in an attractive Tobacco Sunburst finish, with an ash body and a maple fingerboard decorated with black pearloid block inlays. A five-string Jazz Bass from Fender’s high-end American series, combining classic looks with modern electronics and excellent playability.The Elite is a great choice for players who love the Fender character but want more control over their sound. It features fourth-generation Noiseless pickups and an 18V preamp with a three-band EQ. There is also an active/passive switch and traditional tone control, making it easy to move from classic Jazz Bass tones to more modern and powerful sounds. The fifth string extends the instrument’s range and is especially useful when you need to reach lower notes.Comfort was also a major focus. The neck has a changing profile from C to D, a satin finish on the back, and a compound-radius fingerboard ranging from 9.5 to 14 inches. These features make it comfortable to play across the entire neck and help you get the most out of the five-string design. Other features include a solid HiMass Vintage bridge with the option of string-through-body mounting and lightweight Fender tuners. The result is a versatile, professional instrument that works equally well on stage and in the studio.This bass is in very good, almost mint condition.
